In Ethiopia, the size and shape of home-grown civil society is not entirely clear. International agencies coming in with their concepts and ideas of what civil society is and what it should do for Ethiopian society is often blurring the picture.
This space is created for Ethiopian experts on civil society as a space for civilians, entrepreneurs and administrators to each discover how space between the different domains can be kept open so that freedom of association, a level playing field for entrepreneurship and responsible governance can take shape.
Members of ¥OURWORLD are free to use the comment function to share links to articles, public opinion references or statements by officials, where the shared view on the size, shape and dynamics of Ethiopian civil society space is being supported and that help to develop a shared sense of purpose for the interest of all people in Ethiopia.
